About the Author: Geneva A. PoynterGeneva (Adams) Poynter was born in Martin, Tennessee. She's fourth in a family of six children, where she was the only girl among five boys. She lived there until moving to Chicago immediately after high school graduation.
During her stay in Chicago, Geneva worked in and attended a growing Baptist church; where she was a choir member for 45 years. Her hunger and desire for God was nurtured by attending evening classes at The Moody Bible Institute.
