For years, one of my passions is reading poetry. For me, poetry is a universal language, because through its rhythm unveils an amazing array of human experience and emotion. Grown up in Vietnam , I had read many good poems and was inspired by them. Yet, I had never written any of my own poems before. Many years later, like a miracle, God led me to Hopeway Ministry (www.hopeway.org). Started in 2002, I volunteered to work as a translator as well as do other technical work. Little did I know that through Hopeway, God opened my heart to poetry writing. Incredibly, I could write one poem after another. My poems were written in both English and Vietnamese. By the mid-year of 2004, I became a member of FOCP. One focus in my poetry is to share to others the abundant blessings from God that I have received over the years. I often pray to God that through my little poems, may others find the way to come to Him and receive love, peace, and eternal life from Him. When God reigns the world, it will become a better place for all.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve God through poetry. He let me use the very own gift that He gave me. I have learned that I can do all things through God (Philippians 4:13). I thank everyone who has supported and given me the courage to write poetry over the years! May God always be with you all!
